Quotations and Calculations
Our rates are calculated in 24 hour periods meaning if you start a hire at 9am today, your 24 hour rental will end at 9am tomorrow. Overtime and late return fees apply as required.
We try to be very transparent and offer quotes with all mandatory charges noted.
Additional Drivers
We allow two drivers per vehicle at no charge. Additional drivers (3 & 4) may be added for US$3.00 + tax per day per driver, with a maximum of 4 drivers in total per vehicle.
Car Hire Levy
Starting October 15th 2025, the Barbados Government has replaced the Visitor Driving Permits with a mandatory CAR HIRE LEVY. US$2.50 per day will be added to ALL rentals, capping at 7 days per rental contract.
All Drivers must produce a valid driving license (Barbados or Foreign) at delivery.
Age & Driving License requirements
Drivers must be over 21 and under 80 years of age. Each driver must have held a valid driving license for at least 3 years. Drivers must produce this license in person at delivery.
Young Driver – Drivers between 21 and 24 are subject to a higher deposit (deductible/excess US$2000.00)
Senior Driver – Drivers between 75 and 79 years of age are subject to a higher deposit/deductible (US$2250.00 ) and must provide a medical certificate of clearance in advance of the rental. These certificates must be no older than 30 days from the expected commencement of the hire period and must cover hearing, sight, reflexes, and general health.
CDW Packages do not apply to Young and Senior Drivers.
Insurance & Security Deposit Details
With our rate of hire, vehicles are comprehensively insured which includes third party liability and theft. With all quotes, clients are offered mandatory insurance with a responsibility of US$1,500.00.
Exceptions apply and are noted below. We perform an authorization only (PREAUTH) of US$1000.00 on your credit card at the time of delivery. Once no damage occurs, this PREAUTH is not processed through our system and will drop from your card. Please note that the drop-off/release time on this PREAUTH varies depending on your issuing financial institution.
A credit card is required for the security deposit.
If a debit card is presented, the card will be charged for the full security deposit plus a non-refundable processing fee of US$25.00 Refunds are issued within 5-7 business days from the end of the rental period once no damage has occurred.
CDW Package – ( Collision Damage Waiver )
We offer 1 CDW package.
Standard Pack – Additional US$15.00 + tax per day – Your responsibility for damages is reduced to US$250.00, except for the underlined exceptions. Not applicable to 1 & 2-day rentals.
EXCEPTIONS
The CDW/deductible does not cover: interior damage/stereo and antenna/ wheel tools and accessories/ rims/tyres/, hubcaps, depletion of battery life due to negligence, and lost/damaged keys and fobs.
The CDW plan is void in the event of the following:
Use of the vehicle for any activities listed as restricted.
The damage or loss was caused intentionally.
An unauthorized driver is driving the car.
The loss or damage occurred because the driver, whether authorized or not, was impaired by the use of alcohol or drugs.
No food or beverages are permitted in the rental vehicle.
Smoking is also strongly prohibited in all vehicles and is subject to a penalty.
No animals or pets are allowed under any circumstances.
Should the upholstery become soiled or damaged by such activities, the Hirer will be liable for all valet and repair costs, including, but not limited to, loss of use.
The vehicle will not be used for the carriage of passengers or property for hire or reward, for any illegal purpose; to propel or tow any other vehicle or trailer; for race pace-making, reliability trials, or driving tuition; in violation of the provisions of any Act, Order, or Regulation affecting the use, lending, or condition of the vehicle. If the vehicle is used in any of the activities above, the Hirer is responsible for any damage or loss to the vehicle. Or any part or attachment thereof, including our loss of use of the vehicle, regardless of fault. If we elect not to repair the vehicle, the Hirer shall pay the full value of the vehicle before it was damaged, less any salvage proceeds received. The Hirer will immediately inform the Rental Office of any loss, damage to, or fault in the vehicle and will not use the vehicle. At the same time, it is in a non-roadworthy condition or liable to cause harm to any person or property.The Rental Office will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any property left in or on the vehicle, our premises, or service vehicle.
Fuel Policy – Level to level
We do not charge for fuel. All vehicles are delivered with a minimum ¼ tank, and this level is noted at the time of delivery.
You are required to return the vehicle as delivered. Failure to do this will result in a fuel replacement charge.

UNLIMITED MILEAGE
24-Hour Emergency Roadside Assistance.
Maps and guides are provided with all rentals.
Regular working hours and overtime information
Regular Hours – 8.30 am to 6 pm
Overtime Hours – 6 pm to 10 pm max
An overtime fee of US$25.00 plus tax is applied to ALL deliveries during the overtime period.
Airport Delivery – Meet & Greet
FLIGHT INFORMATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL AIRPORT DELIVERIES.
We will track your flight and once landed, we will wait up to 60 minutes for you to clear immigration and customs and make your way out to us. Our agent will meet you just outside the ARRIVAL doors once you clear customs. Please look for a sign bearing your name. All drivers need to be present at delivery and have valid driving licenses and credit cards on hand. All paperwork and payments will be completed then. If you are delayed and miss your delivery window, we require you to make your way to your hotel/villa and contact us. We will then reschedule your delivery subject to available times. An overtime fee of US$25.00 plus tax is applied to ALL deliveries during the overtime period (6-10 PM daily).

Payment Methods and Restrictions
Full payment for your rental and all extras is due at delivery.
We Accept payment by Visa, Mastercard and American Express Credit Cards, cash (US or Barbados ) or debit card.
Security Deposits (PREAUTHS) – A credit card is required for the security deposit.
We do not accept virtual credit cards.
THE CARD PROVIDER MUST BE A NOTED DRIVER ON THE RENTAL VEHICLE.
NO BOOKING IS CONFIRMED WITHOUT CREDIT CARD INFORMATION ON FILE.

Cancellation & NO SHOW
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations of bookings. In the event of this NOT being done or of a NO SHOW, your credit card will be run in the amount of US$100.00.
No refunds are issued if vehicles are adjusted or cancelled once your contract has commenced.
